Longest Week!

So I haven't been able to be on for a while because I had so much stuff going on this past week. I had I-week, meetings, papers and homework. I have been on the look out for a job and I really want to move to Texas at the moment but I'm really okay with whatever happens! I am re-energized and I just started reading The Last Song so that I can see the similarities and differences between the novel and the film! It has been such an easy read, so it has been amazing to be able to read for pleasure during school since I have never really done that before. I have a busy yet short week ahead of me, but I am ready for it. I am ready for Spring to stay and am anticipating graduation!!! I just want to know what I plan to do for the summer, but I know that something will work out. Gotta go so laters!!

Fun Day!!

Last night was so fun. I went out with my aunt on St. Paddy's Day and we have so much fun.My aunt did karaoke and I danced with her and we met some cool people and just let loose. It was interesting to see her in her element, but I loved it.Then we also saw my cousin at work and it was also nice to see him. I don't see him that often so I'm glad I got to!!

Today was amazing! We were going to head to the zoo, but it was so crowded and so we decided to check out the History Museum. It was brilliant because I got to see all of Charles Lindbergh stuff. There was an old radio and medals and newspaper articles. It was so cool to be able to see all of that history. There was also a part of the museum that had things about Old Busch Stadium and musical figures from MO. I had such a blast. It was fun to have a family day and just be able to enjoy the lovely weather and not have a care in the world. Its so nice to be able to have time with my family since they really have gotten to know me over the past 4 years. I love being able to stay for a weekend and just get away from my normal surroundings. Today was fun, but tomorrow I definitely need to get to work so next week will be a little more stress-free!! My spring break is going by so fast but I'm still enjoying every minute of it.

ST. PADDY'S DAY!!!!

It's a beautiful day in St. Louis on this St. Paddy's Day. I have been spending my day lounging and listening to Irish music! I will be enjoying some beer brats and some beer! I'm so excited to eat and just relax! I tried to call my family in Dublin, but they were not around. They are probably enjoying their St. Paddy's so much. I also need to go to McDonald's to get a shamrock shake. Last night we watched the movie "The Box" and it was quite interesting. It's based off of a short story called, "Button,Button" that I want to read to see how they used that to make the movie. I also rented "The Invention of Lying," that I have heard is quite brilliant. Its has been a movie filled week thus far but I am ready to get working on some school work. I will be working on stuff for my internship which will be great because I will hopefully hit the 100 hours mark!!! I just have 80 more hours to complete so that will be nice. I also need to work on the job search and figure all of that out. I'm just starting to get nervous about the whole thing. I won't be going back to SEMO in the fall. Its a bit hard to believe since it has been my home for the past 4 years. Its been a great time and I have grown so much as a person, but I'm ready to go and see the rest of the world!!! Wishing all the Irish lads around the globe, the best St. Paddy's Day ever!!!!

A Little Behind

When bowling yesterday with some of the family, and it was great. Its crazy to watch my younger cousins grow up, but also exciting to be able to see how they grow up and become their own unique person. I'm enjoying being an older cousin and seeing what they are interested in and what their dreams are. It makes me want to follow my dreams more! I ended up winning at bowling. I got a few strikes and spares but my scores were nothing special. 102 & 113. I told Mom yesterday what my scores were b.c when she was part of a bowling league her average was a bit higher than my scores. I thought her score average was 121 but she was quick to correct me by letting me know its 128! Gee, I guess I know where part of my competitive drive comes from. She was not going to let me think her average was 121. She had to make sure that I gave her the 7 more points that she deserved. It was priceless. Today there is finally some sun which get me excited for spring weather and shorts and outdoor activities. I'm not sure how great at this blog business I am, but now I will have record of my history which is pretty cool! Another relaxing day of spring break!
So I just got back from an amazing weekend and it just makes me remind myself how many amazing people have touched my life so far, and how blessed I am. I had the time of my life. I was able to really relax and be myself. I had no expectations except to have fun. I opened up and met some cool new friends! I was able to enjoy myself. I have been trying to stay in touch with people more. Its only 2 months today that I will be a college graduate. I’ve been thinking about what I truly want, and I’m still not sure. I just want to be able to help people and want to have an impact on people and vice-versa. I have started to see the true meaning of life! I want good memories and lots of happiness in my life. I want to have someone to support me through my trials and tribulations. I’m going to think about what I want to do. I am loving this break from school and just some time to recharge my battery and be ready for the last 8 weeks of my college career. That’s all for now.

My first day as a blogger!

So finally I have taken the leap and decided to start my own blog. I got some inspiration from the film, Julie & Julia but I just think that I used to fill up journals and I needed to stop using paper and help save the world while getting my thoughts out.

Things have been crazy already this year. I'm at the point in my life that I will be graduating college with my undergraduate degree in just 8 weeks! It's crazy to look back and remember all of the things that I have done while at school, and how I won't be able to be a part of it soon, but I am ready and excited for a new chapter in my life.

I am ready for Spring Break and hoping that I can figure some things out.

We will just have to see what happens :)
